The International Society for Diversity Management (e.V.) warmly

promised, IDM will be sending you this quarterly newsletter with a
special focus on diversity management. As an international
association with members from business, research and
training/ consulting, we want to offer this newsletter as part of a
broader discussion and networking platform.

27 internationale Diversity Management TrainerInnen trafen sich in
Köln:
idm ist projektverantwortlich für den Teil Diversity
Management des EU Projekts „Anti-Diskriminierung and
Diversity Management“. In allen EU Ländern wird es je
einen Tages-Workshop für je 60 VertreterInnen aus der
Wirtschaft geben. Vor Ort wird immer ein(e) national(e) DM
TrainerIn und ein idm Leitungs-Team Mitglied den workshop
moderieren. Alle nationalen TrainerInnen trafen sich Juni in

Internal IDM News: 27 trainers from 27
different European nations (plus Turkey) met for a one-day workshop on June 20 in
Cologne.
IDM is responsible for the diversity management section of the EU
project “Anti-discrimination and Diversity
Management.” In each of these countries a one-day
workshop consisting of up to 60 participants from business is being
organised. The facilitating team will consist of one local trainer
and one member of IDM. All national trainers met in June in

Online-Befragungstool Diversity Management in
Unternehmen
Die Sozialforschungsstelle Dortmund entwickelt ein online
Befragungstool, wie Unternehmen Diversity Management umsetzen. Ab
September läuft die Testphase.

Online Questionnaire: A Diversity
Management Tool for Business
The Social Research Center in Dortmund is developing a
questionnaire focusing on how businesses are implementing Diversity
Management. In September the test phase will begin. If you want to

„DiGe_E – Managing Diversity and
Gender Experts for Europe“ – ein europäisches
„train-the-trainer“ Projekt 2005 - 2007
7 Organisationen aus Finnland, Groß Britannien, Belgien,
Portugal, Griechenland, Litauen und Deutschland haben einen
4-tätigen Kurs entwickelt, der sich primär an
Trainer/innen, Lehrer/innen, Mitarbeiter/innen aus der allgemeinen
und beruflichen Weiterbildung wendet. Thema sind Diversity und
Gender und grundlegende Kompetenzen im Management von Diversity.
Die Test-Trainings und Angebote werden von national gemischten
Trainer/innen-Teams durchgeführt. Koordinator: das IuK

„DiGe_E—Managing Diversity and

“Train-the-Trainer” Project 2005 –
2007
Seven Organisations from Finland, Great Britain, Belgium, Portugal,
Greece, Luthuania and Germany have developed a four-day course
targetted mainly for trainers, teachers, and staff in the area of
professional development. The focus is on diversity, gender and the
competence necessary for managing diversity. The training testing
in the pilot phase will be organised and facilitated by nationally
mixed teams. The project coordinator is the IuK (Information and
Communication) Institute in Dortmund. For more information contact

Unterzeichnerrunde traf sich in Berlin. Die Bundesregierung stellte
vor, welche Aktivitäten sie in diesem Jahr konkret
plant.
