Diplom-Kaufmann (Master's Degree in Business Administration equivalent), Freie Universität Berlin (Major Emphases on HR, General Management, Marketing and Political Science). His thesis advisor was Prof. Gertraude Krell. The main focus of his research was on leaders' and managers' perceptions of Managing Diversity in order to explore new possible applications in Public Administration.
Alexander von Dippel has been deeply involved in Managing Diversity for eight years.
Professional Development included earning the status of Certified Trainer from the association "Eine Welt der Vielfalt e.V.".
Counseling, training, and facilitation of Managing Diversity in Business, Research, and Public Administration, e.g. in the framework of the EQUAL Project "Berlin DiverCity".
Recently he has been performing a functions of basic research for the City Magistrate of Vienna in conjunction with the Research Institute for Gender and Diversity in Organizations at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. His main areas of research are Public Diversity Management, intersectionality, faultlines, demographic change, ageing, and strategic urban development.
