She started her career working for a Consulting company in Dubai before moving to Accenture in Frankfurt. In 2005 Julia moved to Deutsche Bank where she headed up the Strategy, Planning and Communications function for the Infrastructure group in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). From 2006 to 2009 she worked in the Technology Group of the National Australia Bank in Melbourne, overseeing the workforce and leadership development, as well as a broad spectrum of projects in the organizational development, change management and employee engagement space. She was one of the co-founders and driving forces behind “Helping Hand” – one of the country’s largest IT asset donation schemes addressing issues of Digital Inclusion through Corporate Responsibility engagement.
Since November 2009 she is responsible for the Diversity & Inclusion Program at Ernst & Young in the GSA sub-area (Germany, Switzerland and Austria). Her focus is on applying D&I concepts in the strategic business context, and leveraging it as a new paradigm for corporate leadership and human potential management.
Julia is passionate about creating meaningful work environments in which employees can connect and engage with their organisation and their community beyond their day-to-day tasks.
